Cookie Policy
This explains the cookies and similar technologies we use. It works together with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to keep you signed in, to keep the
Platform secure, and — with your consent — to improve your experience. You can change your choice
at any time by clearing the cookie_consent cookie in your browser, which brings the
consent banner back.
Categories of cookies we use
1. Strictly necessary (always on)
These are required for the Platform to work and cannot be switched off. They do not track you for advertising.
- Session cookie (
JAINSESSID) — keeps you signed in during your visit. - Remember-me (
AUTH_REMEMBER) — keeps you signed in across visits, if you choose it. - Security tokens — protect forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF).
- Consent record (
cookie_consent) — remembers your cookie choice.
2. Non-essential (only with your consent)
These would help us understand usage and improve the Platform, or support optional features, and are set only if you choose “Accept all” on the cookie banner. If you choose “Essential only”, we do not set them. At present we do not set any non-essential or analytics cookies. If we introduce any in future, we will update this policy and obtain your consent through the cookie banner before setting them.
Managing cookies
- Use the cookie banner to accept all or essential-only cookies.
- You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop parts of the Platform from working.
- To re-choose, clear the
cookie_consentcookie and reload the page.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy and will post the revised version here with a new “Last updated” date.
